Administration
Ms. Kelley S. Gray, Principal
Welcome to Granby Elementary School, a place where excellence, equity, and engagement are at the heart of everything we do. As the proud principal of Granby Elementary, I am honored to lead a school community filled with vibrant learners, dedicated educators, and supportive families.
At Granby, we believe that every child is capable of achieving greatness. Our mission is to foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment where students not only thrive academically but also develop the social and emotional skills essential for lifelong success. We are committed to cultivating curiosity, celebrating diversity, and inspiring innovation across all grade levels.
Our passionate teachers and staff work collaboratively to deliver high-quality, student-centered instruction, aligned with Virginia’s Standards of Learning and the goals of Norfolk Public Schools. Whether through hands-on learning, enriching arts programs, or community partnerships, we strive to empower each child to become a confident thinker, compassionate citizen, and resilient learner.
I encourage all families to stay engaged and active in our school community. Your involvement, whether through volunteering, participating in school events, or supporting learning at home makes a lasting difference in the lives of our students.
Together, we will make this school year one of joyful discovery, strong relationships, and meaningful growth.
Thank you for being a vital part of our Granby family. I look forward to partnering with you in support of our children’s success.
